Candy...for Grown Ups!
In 1915, Sam Cortese began making and selling his hand-pulled molasses taffy from a wooden, mule-drawn wagon on the streets of New Orleans. The famous red and white wagon bearing the name “Roman Chewing Candy” is a true fixture of New Orleans tradition and still can be found in the streets today.
To celebrate the centennial anniversary of Roman Chewing Candy, with the same molasses base used in making the delectable candy, we have sweetened flavorful Roman Candy Rum.

'Profiler' was produced for Hope Community Church in 2015 for a series that was essentially making a profile of the life of Jesus Christ. We had the opportunity, and challenge, of conceptualizing a futuristic attempt at profiling based on biological evidence. A short story was actually scripted based on this idea, and we hope we get to produce it soon!

We had the amazing opportunity to produce David Schnepp's story about following his conviction, and using his talents to help those in need.

Chip In is an awesome concept that deserves an epic audience! Imagine going to your favorite places, and every time you arrive, money gets donated to your favorite charities.
An Idea like that deserved an explainer video that would communicate how Chip In benefits both the user and the retail location making the donation. So that's what we set out to do with Chip In.

Mark Harol was convinced that he had life figured out and under control, despite his excess partying and heavy drinking. What was supposed to be another usual night in Las Vegas with his buddies, turned out to be the most important night of his life.

Shadowfall Publications asked Billow to produce a commercial that would the aesthetic and atmosphere of Lisa Manetti's books. She writes horrors, so we made one slasher of a promo! There are direct themes in this spot tied to both novellas within Deathwatch. But I suppose you'll have to read the book to find out!

Countdowns for churches or other live performances are often overlooked as a creative opportunity. When we decided to prodcue this countdown, we wanted to people to be inspired by the footage, and get excited about what was coming next. Thankfully we had a great soundtrack and incredible footage to choose from!

Billow was asked to produce the first of many animated promos for Comfort Zone's Glorious Skin product line. We had a great time working with Comfort Zone's well-established brand, and loved the direction they brought to us with a well written script. Incredible talents started this project...Billow just brought it home.

Kids can have great ideas, offer real help, and accomplish great things when they work together. 'Kidworx' was a fun approach to share that sentiment when promoting the Kidworx service project at Hope Community Church.

Joie De Vivre - Wonder
Every year the ladies of Joli host an inspirational women's conference known as Joie De Vivre. We had the privilege of producing promotional and introductory content for the lovely ladies of Joli. Our approach was to show beautiful women in a beautiful setting. I feel like we accomplished both!

When Others Hurt You
When Others Hurt You - was a challenging project handed to us from Dudley Bienvenu Counseling, Inc. About every year DBCI produces a new counseling series. In 2008, Adam Hofmann animated DBCI’s series intro “Planks and Specks”, seen here: vimeo.com/8797263
In 2009, DBCI asked Billow to come up with a concept for his new series intro “When Others Hurt You”. The series was serious, as was our approach. We came up with 3 scenarios depicting someone getting hurt by their loved one – a father hurt by his son – a daughter abused by her father – and a husband whose wife doesn’t love him anymore. We wanted the theme to be set in a winter/fall-like setting, but we wanted pictures falling instead of leaves. Why? Well, besides it looking cool, we theorized that all the pictures were moments of hurt, and the moments were inevitable and could potentially surround us from time to time.
From the three main scenarios, eight intros were created: three full versions, one full montage of all three, and four short versions of all four. Sound confusing? Well, we’ll just put one on Vimeo here. Above is “Father Son”. Enjoy.
It was shot on a DVX. Edited in Final Cut. Most pictures were animated in 3ds Max (some are real), and all compositing was completed in After Effects.
